A Fort Myers family is still searching for closure since their family member was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Christmas morning.

At a time when most families were celebrating the holidays, the family of Michael Sasen was trying to cope with his death in a Fort Myers hit-and-run accident.

Michael was walking along McGregor Boulevard when a vehicle hit him. The vehicle left the scene. No one has been charged in his death.

However, NBC-2.com reports that there is a suspect — Lee County State Attorney Investigator Charles Lawson, who was arrested the same night on a drunken driving charge. Read the story.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Investigators are processing Lawson’s vehicle for potential blood or DNA evidence and they are following up on any other information. If you have information about this crash, please contact the FHP at (239) 344-1730.
