An overnight motorcycle crash leaves a Cape Coral man in intensive care, fighting for his life today.

The crash happened just before midnight on the Midpoint Bridge between Fort Myers and Cape Coral. Rustin Day was riding his motorcycle on the bridge when he hit a vehicle and was thrown from his bike. He suffered life-threatening injuries.

According to winknews.com, Fort Myers Police Department investigators say the preliminary investigation determined speed along with drugs and/or alcohol may have contributed to the crash. Read the story and watch the television report.
