There were several serious crashes in Southwest Florida this weekend, including one fatal crash.

Fatal crash in Lehigh Acres

A Pizza Hut employee was killed after his vehicle crashed into a tree in Lehigh Acres on Sunday. The single-vehicle crash happened about 6 p.m. at Beth Stacey Boulevard and Homestead Road.

Witnesses said they heard a loud boom and saw a car wrapped around an oak tree, according to news-press.com. The driver was pinned inside.

Woman crashes into building in Naples

In a crash in Naples on Saturday morning, investigators say a woman crashed into a medical supply building. Naples police arrested the driver and charged her with DUI, drug charges and property damage. The crash happened about 4 a.m. at Gulf Shore Medical Supply. Read more.

Rollover crash injures seven people in Fort Myers

Eight people were involved in a rollover crash Saturday morning in Fort Myers. The driver of a Grand Cherokee hit a Saturn, causing the Saturn to flip over. The crash happened on State Road 82 near Blackstone Drive. Florida Highway Patrol Troopers say the SUV driver failed to give the right of way to the Saturn.

Five people in the Saturn were injured and two people in the Grand Cherokee were injured. None of the injuries was life threatening. Read more.
