A teen was killed in a 5-vehicle crash in Naples just before 11 p.m. on July 31. The crash, which investigators say involved alcohol, is still under investigation.
A 21-year-old Naples man was speeding in his Honda Accord on Pine Ridge Road at Logan Boulevard when he ran a red light, witnesses told Florida Highway Patrol troopers. The Honda hit a Jeep traveling south on Logan Boulevard, causing the Jeep to hit three other vehicles. A 16-year-old passenger in the Jeep was killed.
