A Cape Coral man was charged with DUI after hitting two vehicles and leaving the scene. His blood-alcohol was 0.244 percent, three times the legal limit.

Jeffrey Shafer is now facing nine charges, including DUI, hit and run with property damage, hit and run with injury and leaving the scene of an accident.

According to nbc-2.com, police pulled Shafer over because he was weaving in and out of traffic. He failed field sobriety tests. They discovered Shafer had hit two vehicles with people in them along Del Prado Boulevard. Read more.
