A teen hit by a car in Port Charlotte as she walked to her bus stop this morning is in serious condition. She was walking next to her two sisters when another teen driving his car to school struck her.
The two sisters saw their 15-year-old sister swept off the ground and hit the car’s windshield, according to reports from nbc-2.com. She suffered leg and head injuries but is expected to recover. Another sister suffered minor injuries when her arm was struck by the side mirror on the vehicle.
The accident is still under investigation. The girls were walking along the side and edge of the roadway. There are not sidewalks or streetlights in the area, nbc-2.com reported. Read the full story.
