Investigators are still searching for the driver who hit and killed a mother of two young children in the parking lot of Winn-Dixie in Immokalee and then fled the scene.
Crystal Olvera, in her early 20s, went to the store to get milk for her children — an infant and a toddler on Sunday night. She was hit by an SUV. Witnesses say the driver of the SUV backed up after hitting her and then drove around the scene, according to nbc-2.com.
The vehicle is a dark-colored 1992-1999 Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon. Anyone with information should call the Florida Highway Patrol at 239-344-1730.
